We provide pots and pans, baking dishes and sheet pans, dishes and flatware, and wine glasses, plus a KitchenAid drip coffee maker and coffee grinder with starter packs of Door County Coffee. Dine at the elegant dining table or take your meal out to the deck.

Body soap and shower gel, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, hangers and cleaning products are provided. A first aid kit, a power outage kit, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher are on site.
Access
Guests have the entire home, including the large deck, the backyard, the patios, the hot tub, the fire pit and the on-property walking trails (the entrance is near the driveway by the stone fence). Ample parking is available on the property.

DoCo arranges professional cleaning between stays and handles guest communication and after-hours phone support for emergencies or any other questions. Our standard check-in time is 4:00 p.m., and our standard check-out time is 10:00 a.m.. Furniture and decor may differ from the photos.
Please stay on the mowed trail paths and respect property line signs. We recommend bug spray and tick checks after walks, for people and pets.
The property is served by an LP gas tank and septic system that occasionally need service visits; we'll do our best to let you know in advance.
The home is in a wooded, rural setting. You may encounter mosquitoes, spiders and other insects.

Our stay in Ellison Bay was beautiful and peaceful, the home was well decorated and had many conveniences, and it was lovely seeing the deer and turkeys walk through the yard. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

This beautiful home was even better than the pictures! Spacious , inviting and so homey without being too personal. Loved just exploring the house cooking in the kitchen , taking in the cozy views. Dog friendly and cozy for the whole family. One of the nicest homes we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend! Great hosts !
Lost Lane was the perfect getaway - quiet, serene, beautiful, and completely private with no other houses around. The home was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of beautiful finishes and little details that made the space feel special. We were so impressed with the house overall. The location was also perfect. We were just minutes from restaurants, shopping, kayaking, e-biking, and the National Dark Sky Park. The stars there were incredible, but honestly, we didn’t even need to leave, sitting in the hot tub under the beautiful night sky was just as amazing. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend Lost Lane for a peaceful Door County escape.

The home is a private, peaceful, and pristine escape in Door County, with plenty of space for our family of four, including two teenage daughters. The thoughtful design of the property offers wonderful areas to gather, relax, and reconnect as a family, while also providing plenty of quiet spaces to unwind and recharge. We absolutely loved our stay at Lost Lane and could not recommend it more highly! The house is beautiful, well-maintained, and full of amenities that make it perfect for a family-friendly stay. The location was perfect for us - a short ride (~15 min) to Sister Bay so close to everything we wanted while still being quiet and secluded back at the property. The hosts were extremely friendly, flexible, and VERY responsive. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

The setting was one of our favorite parts, it was so peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy time together. One of our favorite memories was enjoying our morning coffee on the huge wraparound front porch while listening to the songbirds. It was such a relaxing way to start each day and really made us appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the property.
