KITCHEN AND DINING The eat-in kitchen has an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, plus a toaster, blender, food processor, mixer, slow cooker, electric kettle and coffee grinder. We provide pots and pans, sheet pans, mixing bowls, dishes and flatware, wine glasses, and children's plates, bowls and utensils. There's a Black & Decker drip coffee maker and a French press, with starter packs of Door County Coffee, and a reverse osmosis drinking water spigot at the kitchen sink.

Other provided supplies include starter packs of Door County Coffee and filters, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, and dishwasher and laundry supplies. Body soap, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, hangers, portable fans and cleaning products are provided. A first aid kit, a power outage kit, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher are on site.

Access

Guests have the entire house, the deck, and the private backyard with its fire pit and grill. Free parking is available on the property, and check-in is self-serve with a keypad.

Notes

★PROFESSIONALLY MANAGED BY DOCO VACATIONS★ The Howard House is professionally managed by DoCo Vacations, a locally owned Door County vacation rental company. DoCo arranges professional cleaning between stays and handles guest communication and after-hours phone support for emergencies or any other questions. Our standard check-in time is 4:00 p.m., and our standard check-out time is 10:00 a.m.. Furniture and decor may differ from the photos.

The house is on a private well that is tested and safe for use; well water can occasionally have a noticeable smell. A reverse osmosis drinking water spigot is by the kitchen sink.

Garbage is picked up weekly, so there's no need to bring cans to the road.

Built and managed by DoCo Vacations; our own team launders the linens in-house.

Neighborhood

Baileys Harbor is central to all of Door County, and the Howard House is central to Baileys Harbor. You're within walking distance of shops and restaurants, including Door County Brewing, Roost and Banter, Chives and the Cornerstone Pub. Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and Sister Bay are all within 20 minutes of your front door.

We pride ourselves on creating a streamlined experience whenever and wherever possible. You'll check in with a keypad door lock. You'll receive all of your check-in instructions digitally, along with our digital guidebook of favorite Door County spots. Your stay is managed by the local DoCo Vacations team, so if you need anything, we're always a short phone call or message away.

Transit

Walk to downtown Baileys Harbor's restaurants and shops. A car is the best way to explore the rest of the peninsula, and Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and Sister Bay are all within 20 minutes.
