KITCHEN AND DINING The kitchen has classic white cabinetry and butcher block counters, with an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with filtered water and an ice maker, and freezer, plus a toaster, blender, electric hand mixer and slow cooker. We provide pots and pans, a baking sheet, dishes and flatware, and wine glasses, plus a drip coffee maker with starter packs of Door County Coffee.

Other provided supplies include starter packs of Door County Coffee and filters, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, and dishwasher and laundry supplies. Body soap, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, hangers and cleaning products are provided. A first aid kit, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher are on site.
Access
Guests have the entire home, the deck, the fire pit and the grounds. The home is the second house on the left past the end of Garrett Bay Road, where the cul-de-sac meets a gravel road. Parking is available on site for cars.

★PROFESSIONALLY MANAGED BY DOCO VACATIONS★ The Garrett Bay Cottage is professionally managed by DoCo Vacations, a locally owned Door County vacation rental company. DoCo arranges professional cleaning between stays and handles guest communication and after-hours phone support for emergencies or any other questions. Our standard check-in time is 4:00 p.m., and our standard check-out time is 10:00 a.m.. Furniture and decor may differ from the photos.
The homeowners have a private guest suite above their garage across the street, which they occasionally use. It does not interfere with your enjoyment of the home.
The home is on a private well that is lab tested annually and treated with a water softener and iron/sulfur filters. We suggest bottled water for the best-tasting coffee.
Garbage and recycling are picked up Thursdays from the driveway, so there's no need to move the bins.
The home is in a wooded, rural setting. You may encounter mosquitoes, spiders and other insects.

The cottage sits at Door County's northern edge, offering tranquility and sweeping views across Garrett Bay. Nearby you'll find hiking, fishing and local dining, and the rest of northern Door County's shops and restaurants are a short drive away.

This was our second stay at this location. On both occasions it was to celebrate our anniversary. The house is cozy and relaxing. The view of the water is spectacular. We will be back. Mike & Rita Kane
Beautiful home and setting overlooking the lake and Washington Island.
We had a great time! We were two families with four children between the two families. It worked perfect for us! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The deck was very nice to sit on and drink your coffee every morning and have dinner every night. It was very peaceful. It was also close to everything we wanted to do.
Beautiful cottage with a breathtaking view. Away from the crowds on the peninsula, yet still able to sneak into Sister Bay easily. Our family loved the deck and living room in the evenings.

If you’re wondering whether to book this place, do it! The pictures don’t do the views justice—they only hint at how absolutely amazing they are in person. The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities were excellent, and communication with the property owners was fantastic from beginning to end. They were responsive, helpful, and made everything so easy. The location is perfect—close to all of Door County’s favorite spots while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. We loved every minute of our stay and are already looking forward to coming back. We can’t wait to visit again!
