Meet Our Dedicated DoCo Dream Team:
Rob Esposito (Founder and CEO)
Rob is the driving force behind DoCo Vacations. As the founder and CEO, he brings over a decade of experience in real estate development, investment, and management to the table. Rob’s passion for vacation rentals started with his family’s property in Door County, and he has been dedicated to improving the guest experience ever since. In addition to his work with DoCo Vacations, Rob is also the founder of DoCo Capital, a private equity firm focused on real estate and hospitality investments.
On a day-to-day basis you can find Rob answering countless emails and phone calls, ensuring his team has everything they need to be successful that day, conducting maintenance tasks for our wide range of properties, amongst other tasks. His vision brings a willingness to go above and beyond, and to push the boundaries of the traditional short-term rental game in Door County, WI.
You can always count on Rob to be there for his guests, partners and his team. And when he thinks you’re not looking, rapping to Kanye.

Suzie Esposito (Co-Founder)
Suzie is Rob’s wife and Co-Founder of DoCo Vacations. While her primary role is mom to their three kids, she helps with DoCo Vacations when she can. Suzie’s input and support have been invaluable to the success of the company.
Favorite Show: Ted Lasso, 2020
April Neubauer (Operations Manager)
Mother of 3, she spends most of her free time with her babies or reading! It’s one of her favorite things to do. They hibernate in the winter and in the summer, you’ll never catch them inside-they love the warm weather!
“I’m the operations manager who takes care of things behind the scenes with scheduling, supplies, guests, etc. I’m not a sit at the desk all day kinda girl, so I do love to clean and do laundry to help out the team when I can! My biggest priority is always making sure our guests are happy as well as my team and having a good work/life balance. I am from Iowa but have been in Door County for 6 years.”
April plays a critical role in our day-to-day workflow, always making sure that everyone has everything they need, and that tasks go as smoothly as possible. You can always count on April for a laugh, and for someone in your corner.
Favorite Fruit: Watermelon
Abby Heimbecher (Marketing Manager)
Door County born and raised, but no stranger to big city life. Mother of one, she spends more of her free time going on walks with her husband and son, or trying out the latest and greatest restaurants. A self-described “Foodie”, and previously professional baker, she’s sure to wow you with her homemade treats.
“As Marketing Manager I get to take care of our social media channels by making sure our posts, their messages, and visuals align with our brand identity. I love getting to take photos that showcase our properties, and create content that engages our prospective guests, and allows them to visualize their Door County stay with DoCo Vacations,”
She’s also responsible for brand outreach, and creating partnerships with local businesses so that we can provide the best possible service that creates a lasting impression. Her duties include but are not limited to creating blog posts, designing promotional material, and communicating with guests. Her job allows her to be creative, and communicate to all of Door County and beyond our message of professional, yet personal offerings that we bring to the vacation rental space.

Amanda DuQuaine (Laundry and Cleaning Specialist)
She is a mother of 2 who loves to spend her free time with her kids. Loves plants and growing her own vegetables in her home! She was born and raised here in Wisconsin.
Amanda is one of our full time employees. She is great at paying attention to detail when cleaning. We love when she does laundry because she keeps things neat and organized. She folds everything so perfectly you’d swear she was an origami master.
Favorite Hobby: Gardening
Emily VandenPlas (Laundry and Cleaning Specialist)
She is a stepmom to 2 kids. She and her husband own a non profit organization for vets called “DC Farm for Vets”. She is an absolute animal lover of all animals! They have chickens, goats, dogs, cats, etc. she loves taking pictures of the outdoors and curling up to a good book during gloomy days.
Emily is a full time employee who is very much a team player! Anything we ask of her, she’s more than willing to help out. She’s a fast and efficient cleaner, and you can always count on her to discuss this week’s drama on your favorite reality TV shows.
Favorite Food: Queso Dip!
Marquita Wilkerson (Cleaning Specialist)
A mom of 4, her children are her entire world. She enjoys walks and talks with her kids and also watching them grow up here in Door County. She was born and raised in Chicago, but has resided in Door County for the past 10 years. “It’s a great place to live!”
Marquita is also great team player. She’s always willing to help out when we need an extra set of hands! She is thorough and meticulous with her cleans, which results in high guest satisfaction.
Favorite Book: The Coldest Winter Ever, by Sister Soulja
