Privacy Policy – DoCo Accounting Bot

This Privacy Policy explains how DoCo Vacation Rentals LLC (“DoCo Vacations,” “we,” “us”) handles information through DoCo Accounting Bot (the “App”). DoCo Vacations is a vacation rental property management company in Door County, Wisconsin.

About the App

DoCo Accounting Bot is a private, internal-only application. It is used only by DoCo Vacations to connect to DoCo Vacations’ own QuickBooks Online company. The App is not offered to the public or to other businesses.

What Data We Access

When DoCo Vacations connects the App to its QuickBooks Online company, the App can access that company’s accounting data. This may include accounts, vendors, expenses, bills, classes, journal entries, and related transaction details. The App only accesses DoCo Vacations’ own QuickBooks Online company.

How We Use the Data

We use the data only to run DoCo Vacations’ own bookkeeping, including to:

  • Read accounting records in QuickBooks Online.
  • Reconcile property management expenses with records from Guesty and Breezeway.
  • Create accounting records (such as expenses, bills, classes, and journal entries), but only with DoCo Vacations’ approval.

We do not use the data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Storage and Security

Data is stored securely. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data and the App’s connection to QuickBooks Online, and we limit access to people who need it to manage DoCo Vacations’ books.

Sharing

We do not sell or share data, except with DoCo Vacations’ service providers (for example, our bookkeeper) as needed to manage DoCo Vacations’ accounting, or when required by law.

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for DoCo Vacations’ accounting and business record-keeping purposes, or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or stop retaining it.

How to Disconnect or Revoke Access

Access can be revoked at any time by disconnecting DoCo Accounting Bot from the QuickBooks Online company (in QuickBooks Online, go to the Apps area and disconnect the App). Once disconnected, the App can no longer access the QuickBooks Online data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this page with a new effective date.
