The Egg Harbor Hideaway is a one bedroom/one bathroom private suite located on the second floor of it's sister listing-The Modern Craftsman Home, with a private entrance and keypad deadbolt for easy check-in. Inside, you'll find a brand new apartment designed specifically with Airbnb guests in mind.

The kitchenette is fully stocked with everything you need, including a mini-fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, large sink, kitchen utensils, Keurig, and snacks. You'll sleep soundly on a brand new queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress from Tuft & Needle. The bathroom has beautiful new fixtures, plush linens, and a shower with great water pressure. The WiFi is fast, and the LED TV comes with a Chromecast for your favorite streaming services, so you can unwind and watch all your favorite shows and movies after a day of exploring the peninsula.

Guests have access to the guest suite with a private entrance. Their is no "common area" that you`ll have to share with anyone. The patio and backyard are reserved for guests in the main house.

The space is located above the garage, so you`ll need to climb a set of stair to get to it. Even though it is above the garage, it is VERY well insulated (certified energy efficient) with air conditioning and heat. We have been hosting guests on Airbnb for years, we know that our guests want a peaceful stay, so we designed this space with Airbnb renters in mind. The garage under the suite is never used by other guests, so you won't have to worry about the garage door or cars bothering you during your stay.

As the owners and managers of this home through our company, DoCo Vacations, we take a unique approach to hosting. Our goal is to maintain professional standards while still providing a personal touch. We pride ourselves on delivering a clean and fully furnished rental property and making sure our guests have all the necessary supplies. The cozy linens we provide are professionally laundered by our staff.

We have a small team that helps us take care of all the details at our properties, but we are not a large rental management company that has lost the personal connection with our guests. We strive to provide the best of both worlds: professional service with a personal touch.

We are located in the Village of Egg Harbor. You can walk to anywhere in Downtown Egg Harbor without any problem, including local restaurants, bars and our amazing local grocery store (Main Street Market). A beautiful new library is just one block away, and you can walk to the water within 5 minutes.

Sometimes, we will have the main house rented to other Airbnb guests. The unit has keypad dead-bolt, so check-in is automated.

We pride ourselves on creating a streamlined experience whenever and wherever possible. You'll check in with a key pad deadbolt, receive all of your check-in instructions digitally, and browse a list of our favorite spots in Door County from our digital guidebook. If you need us, we're always a short phone call or text away.

You'll be able to walk anywhere in Downtown Egg Harbor, which is centrally located in Door County, making it easy to drive anywhere else. Fish Creek is about 10 minutes north, Ephraim is roughly 15 and Sister Bay is about 20 minutes. Drive 15 minutes south and you'll be in Sturgeon Bay (which should never be forgotten when visiting Door County).
